19th Century Grand Tour Bronze Figure of Greek Wrestler Damoxenos

A handsome sculpture to add strong and masculine imagery to a space. A small bronze after an Italian sculpture Antonio Canova's (1757—1822) "Boxer Damoxenos" A very nice example of what a young affluent gentleman would have brought home from his travels abroad.

The bronze statue measures 9" tall x 6 1/2" wide 

The bronze is in good antique condition. The patina is consistent with age.
